Graduated compression socks are excellent in helping to prevent and relieve many vein related problems such as Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), phlebitis, varicose veins, Edema's (swelling), leg fatigue, spider veins and the like, and this is why they make such great flight socks.

Ladies, you may notice that you have a choice of either opaque support socks or sheer support socks, so whether you wear trouser socks or pop socks, you can replace our graduated compression socks with your every day hosiery and no one will be any of the wiser!

Due to popular demand, we are now stocking toeless compression socks in extra firm gradients, please see style 201 in both the ladies and mens sections.

Maternity Tights

Our maternity tights are an essential item for any mum-to-be. They help prevent swollen ankles, varicose veins and leg fatigue, all a common symptom brought on by pregnancy (as if you don't have enough to put up with at this time).

The great thing about our maternity tights is they look like your normal every day hosiery (gone are the days of Nora Batty elastic stockings), and you can choose between Beige, Nude and Fawn skintones, as well as the usual Black.

Unlike many high street maternity tights, all our products are made with an mmHg (in short, a medical grade), which means that your blood flow will be improved, making you less susceptible to problems or helping to relieve problems you are already endurring.

All our maternity tights feature front baby panels that expand as the baby grows, with non-restrictive top bands, re-inforced heel and toe, and cotton crotch for comfort and hygiene. If you choose the Therafirm maternity support tights, you will have the added benefit of the MicroCool, an agent in the dye process that helps draw moisture away from the body and gives an extra freshness when worn. These are often more popular during the warmer months.

Maternity support tights are specially designed for mums-to-be to give full protection over the whole length of the legs, they have been known to get rid of pain in the hips, groin and upper legs, as well as being a superb deterrent of varicose veins, swollen ankles and haemorrhoids.
