Soft, opaque, maternity support tights from the Preggers by Therafirm maternity hosiery range.

Designed with modern mums-to-be in mind, these are made with a light graduated compression level to promote better blood flow in the legs, giving a lighter sensation to heavy, tired legs and helping to prevent swelling from water retention.

A uniquely designed waistband that can be worn rolled under or pulled over the belly, offers support and stability around the bump and lower back. These maternity support tights have a large, soft waistband, rather than the normal 'y shaped' front pouch.

Breathable material made with MicroCool to wick away moisture from the body, keeps your skin feeling cleaner and fresher for longer.

Use current weight for sizing.

  • Opaque-like material, similar to a microfibre
  • 10-15 mmHg Lightweight Graduated Compression
  • Made with MicroCool
  • Unique Waistaband
  • Closed Toe Design
  • 77% Nylon/23% Lycra

Please use current weight.

If size is borderline, go the next size up (eg. if sizing is borderline between S and M, order M), unless you are shorter in the leg, in which case, you may be better off with the smaller size. If unsure please call us on 0800 433 4757.

To convert stones to lbs multiply the stones by 14. For example, 10 stone 3 would be worked out as 10 x 14 = 140 + 3 = 143 lbs.

Supportive but tricky to put on

These tights are good quality and supportive, I used them for varicose veins in pregnancy. They do a good job, but I've switched to stockings instead as the bump panel was quite tight and they were a bit tricky to put on. And having to pull them up and down for going to the toilet, quickly caused ladders in the tights.

Too tight across bump

Ordered these on a Friday and delighted that they arrived on the Saturday. Took a bit of time to get them on but they were very comfortable on my

legs. However, despite sizing up as recommended, these were far too tight across my bump and when rolled down below bump, as suggested, they were very uncomfortable. Disappointed as they seem very effective on legs but unwearable with my bump.

Pebble UK Says: This particular style is designed to fit snug around the bump and lower back, so that it offers support and stability at these points. Understandably, this will not suit everyone, as every mum-to-be will be a different shape and size, and will carry differently.

Far too tight on belly

I am a size 10-12 before pregnacy and I'm 5/10 so I ordered the size Tall. I've given a 2 star rating because the support on the legs is very good and seems to be helping with my circulation, but they are incredibly tight over the belly, they do not in any way seem to have been designed for a pregnant belly. i am 27 weeks now and do not feel comfortable squashing my bump at all or wearing anything too tight over my belly, I've been having to stretch the belly part of the tights out over night on a sofa cushion, which helps a little so I'm abe to wear them for a few hours and feel semi-comfortable. I'm considering just cutting the tights at the waist in order to have some comfort. It's very frustrating that there are no maternity tights out there which are  nice and comfortable on the belly and offer good firmsupport on the legs at the same time.

PEBBLE UK SAYS: Sorry to hear of your disappointment. The waistband is designed to give support to bump and to lower back, which some ladies find very useful, but of course, not everyone will like it, however, don't forget that the waistband is designed to be worn rolled under the belly as well, so you may find it more comfortable to wear in this way instead. If you are still uncomfortable, we have other brands that do not have this style of waistband, just email us and we will point you inthe right direction.

Disappointed

I ordered 2 pairs of these tights. One pair has been fantastic, I have worn them most days and they really help with tired, pregnant legs but the other pair I have worn only 4 times. The stitching has given way at the gusset so a hole has developed. This is despite being the correct size and making sure I've put them on correctly etc.

Very disappointed with the lack of a reasonable response from Pebble UK. Only a discount on yet another pair. I know these are not ordinary tights but I'd expect them to last longer than 4 wears as they are expensive!

Pebble UK Says: Manufacturing faults are normally easily detectable upon first opening the product or before putting them on for the first time. As this was not the case, and the tights have been worn a few times, it is impossible to tell what has caused the hole. The tights are still wearable and will still do the job they are designed to do and that is improve the blood circulation in the legs. Holes and ladders are not deemed to be manufacturing faults and so we are not able to replace the pair with the hole in, but have offered a goodwill incentive.

Love love love these!

These are soft, supportive, a great fit and great quality. Having tried a few other brands these are definitely the best I've tried. A bit tricky to get into and out of (which the packaging explains so stixk with it) especially in my last trimester, but once on they are very comfy indeed. I am size 12-14 pre-pregnancy and 5'7 - the L size fits perfectly but now I'm in my last 6 weeks I need a bit more belly coverage so I'm going to get another pair in  XL. Seems like a lot to spend for a few weeks wear but I've been wearing them every day recently as suffering with varicose vein discomfort so well worth it, and have not had any ankle swelling whatsoever. They just mean I can be on my feet for longer and keep that heavy leg feeling at bay for almost a day. Still need to put my feet up in the evening but I can't recommend these highly enough.

Soft weave, nice waistband

These tights almost feel like normal tights - the weave is nice and smooth, and because it has a wide waistband it doesn't press into the tummy, which means they are good from early on in your pregnancy. I ordered medium but I found these quite long in the leg which occasionally means they gather a little at the knees which can be uncomfortable - but it depends on your body proportions how well they will fit you. It is very difficult to wear these thick black tights in hot weather, and remember that these only provide light support so if you have quite bad varicose veins then you probably need something stronger which is what I found as my pregnancy progressed.

Brilliant

I have awful varicose veins and these do the trick. they fit well over the bump and I can see them getting me through to full term. Although, if like me, you need them on a daily basis then its best to get a couple of pairs.  I know they cost a bit but my legs are so heavy and uncomfortable without them. Make sure you hand wash or put into a wash bag if you are putting them into the machine.

Look good

I have the grey and they do have a shine to them but I think it looks quite nice. They do not look like 'support' tights and they were quite comfortable over my bump at 23 weeks. The top of the waistband came up over my bump to right under my bra and did roll down a little bit but wasn't uncomfortable. I am normally a smallish size 10 and I am 5'5" and medium was a good fit. I am tempted to try the aubergine and black. I prefer the look of these tights to the Solidea maman 140 which i got in black but the maman are higher support.

Amazing life changing tights.

I bought three pairs of these tights as they are amazing. I was suffering from fainting and low blood pressure in pregnancy, and the GP could only prescribe the knee highs from the chemist, which were not strong enough. These tights are soft stretchy and wonderful to wear. The bump bit is really supportive and soft at the same time. Essential maternity purchases!

opaque and comfortable

I like these tights a lot - they don't look like compression tights and yet offer decent support. The other plus for me is that I'm pretty sure I'll still be able to wear them once I'm no longer pregnant because the waistband doesn't have a big built-in bump but rather is just gently stretchy. (with no lines)

My only complaint is they are a bit shiny and I prefer a matte tight, but I'm still going to order at least one more pair. (I already have the grey.)
